Lawyer - Legal Conference Producer
The Pacific Business & Law Institute is Western Canada's leading provider of legal conferences and workshops delivering solutions to senior business executives, government officials, lawyers and other professionals.
We are always looking for talented lawyers to research and organize conferences and forums held in cities throughout North America. Staying on top of today’s most important legal developments, you will bring together and share ideas with today’s top leaders and experts to create innovative conferences and forums covering a wide range of industries and public policy areas.
The keys to success are curiosity, strong research and organizational abilities resulting in provocative conference outlines and other brochure content.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- A law or other professional degree (LLB., MBA, etc) with at least 3 years of business or professional experience
- An outgoing personality and solid interviewing skills
- A strong background collecting and organizing information into summaries, outlines and reports
- A self-starter who initiates projects and takes them through to completion
- An ability and willingness to travel nationally (10% travel)
