Born and raised in Vancouver, Clear received a BA in Geography from the University of Victoria. With a keen interest in the not-for-profit sector she has always been actively involved in the community, sitting on various boards, most recently the Vancouver International Children’s Festival.

Before joining PBLI, she worked for six years in Japan where she was developing and presenting a variety of lectures and workshops for the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. While living in Japan, she was also on the board of the Christmas Charity Party for 5 years; raising monies and awareness for not-for-profit organizations based in Saga Prefecture.

A strong belief in continuing education and community interaction brought Clear to the Pacific Business & Law Institute. She has traveled throughout S.E. Asia while enjoying her other passions of photography, diving and snowboarding.
