Ms. Cusack is a graduate of Dalhousie Law School and is a founding director of Pacific Business & Law Institute. She is also a founding director of the non-profit, public policy research organization the Summit Institute Society and President and Director of the Asia Pacific Institute, the latter of which she founded in Hawaii in the late 1980’s. She has been involved in the research, organization and direction of hundreds of conferences across the country for almost twenty years.

Pauline is originally from Nova Scotia and moved to Vancouver in 1980. She has experience in international development having worked in Cameroon, West Africa as Directrice of College Fougou in Bangwa.

Prior to founding PBLI, Pauline was a partner at a full-service, downtown law firm specializing in real estate development, corporate and commercial law. She has been on various boards over the years and at present volunteers as a member of the Board of Governors of Van Dusen Botanical Garden Association in Vancouver. She is the mother of two sons and is a keen gardener.
