Implementing the Treaty Land Entitlement (TLE) Framework Agreement is a challenging task. Specific Claims settlements and Tribunal process, reserve creation and other implementation issues are present throughout Saskatchewan. The Supreme Court of Canada’s decision in Daniels has added a new layer of complexity as potential Métis land claims must also be considered. It is imperative that those working with First Nations are up to date on the latest developments and best practices.

This program brings together leaders who are at the forefront of these emerging issues. Delegates will learn about solutions to problems encountered when implementing TLE and specific claim settlements, as well as how Métis rights will operate in the future. This program is essential for First Nations leaders, advisors, and consultants.
