How It Works

Most of our past programs can be viewed as an on-demand rebroadcast. But what does on-demand mean? This means you choose a past program you would like to view, then choose which day works best for you to watch it. After we receive your registration and payment, we will send you the links and materials 48 hours in advance of the date you have selected to view.

System Requirements

We use the Adobe Connect Application for on-demand rebroadcasts. You can download and use this application for free. To download the application or to access the system requirements, please visit the Adobe Connect website here.

CPD Credits

As of January 2019, the Law Society of BC permits lawyers to claim credits for watching accredited rebroadcast programs on their own. All PBLI programs are accredited and eligible for CPD credits. Please refer to specific programs for more information on CPD credit hours available.

 

Availability for Viewing

Cut-off time for next day registrations online is 2:00pm (PST) on business days. If an online registration is made by the cut-off time on a business day, then the earliest available date is the next business day. If a registration is placed online after the cut-off time on a business day, then the earliest available date is the day after the next business day. If you are wishing to register after 2:00pm to view a program the next day, please call us at 604-730-2500 and we may be able to accommodate you.

If a registration is made on a weekend or statutory holiday, we treat this registration as having been made on the first business day following the statutory holiday.

 

Cancellation Policy

Full refunds will be given for cancellations (less a $60.00 administration fee) prior to receiving the on-demand links and materials. After that time, we are unable to refund registration fees. Substitutions and date changes will be permitted.

Weekends/Statutory Holiday Viewings

When choosing a date to watch your selected program, you will notice you cannot select weekends or statutory holidays. If you wish to watch a rebroadcast on a weekend or statutory holiday, please send us an e-mail at registrations@pbli.com.
